Islamabad · Software & Applied AI

Production software and applied AI for real operations.

Operational systems for hiring, currency rates, invoicing and food-safety reporting — plus the applied AI that supports them. Grounded in the guest housing and food businesses we run ourselves.

Selected work

Systems in daily operational use.

Each entry links to the live deployment. Some are open to the public; others sit behind a staff sign-in, so we have noted what you will actually see.

Recruitment Intelligence Platform

Digital Invoices

Serverless invoicing with shareable invoice URLs and QR/barcode lookup, so a printed document leads back to the exact record it came from — no heavy desktop install.

How we work

Start from the workflow, not the wireframe.

01

Understand the operation

Who does what today, where records break, and which decisions have to stay with a person. We would rather map the real process than assume a tidy one.

02

Build the smallest durable system

Something a team can run daily: clear status, reviewable records, and data flows that hold up under edge cases and unreliable connectivity.

03

Stay with it after launch

Changes come from what breaks and what staff actually ask for. Software that nobody maintains stops matching the operation within months.

Capabilities

Engineering for systems that have to stay up.

Cloud apps & APIs
Web applications and service APIs designed for multi-user operational workloads.
Enterprise integrations
Connecting existing business systems so staff work from fewer disconnected tools.
Offline-first & PWA
Progressive web apps and offline-tolerant architectures for unreliable or intermittent connectivity.
Data & audit workflows
Structured records, review steps, and audit-friendly histories for operational accountability.
DevOps & observability
CI/CD, environment automation, and monitoring so releases and incidents are easier to manage.

Applied AI

Assistance that a person still signs off.

No autonomy theatre. Intake, extraction, retrieval and workflow support that staff can check — with people accountable wherever the outcome matters.

  • AI intake & structured extraction

Parse inbound applications, documents or forms into structured fields for downstream review.

  • Human-reviewed retrieval

Retrieval-assisted answers and knowledge lookup with people in the loop before action is taken.

  • Workflow automation

Route, classify and queue work so teams spend less time on repetitive triage.

  • Private & on-premise deployment

Support for deployments that keep sensitive intake and models closer to your own infrastructure.

  • Operational analytics

Practical reporting on throughput, exceptions and review outcomes — not vanity dashboards.

Review pipeline

How work moves through an MK313 AI pipeline Intake flows to automated extraction and classification, then to human review, which is the step that authorises the operational action. Intake 01 Extract / classify 02 Human review 03 Operational action 04
Automation narrows the work. It does not authorise it — step 03 is a person.

Operational grounding

We run operations, not just software for them.

MK313 also operates StayConnect guest housing and MK Kitchen food service. Running them gives us first-hand understanding of guest, staffing, delivery, food and reporting workflows — context that shapes how we design software.

MK Kitchen

Chef-crafted meals prepared daily and available for delivery across Islamabad.

About

A software practice with an operator's habits.

MK313 is based in Islamabad and led by founder Ali Jamal. We build operational software and applied AI systems, and we operate hospitality and food businesses that keep us close to real workflow constraints.

Our focus is practical delivery: systems people can run, review and improve. We describe what we have built and what it does — without inventing scale, clients or maturity we cannot show publicly.

Software should reduce friction in operations without pretending every decision can be automated.

Careers

Open roles

Our recruitment portal lists current openings across MK313 — including roles in the hospitality, food and clinical operations we run, alongside software positions. Each post has a full description and an online application form.
